Make your mind up, which are you.. looking for a team or are in a team looking for sponsors
Ignoring the 2 forum posts and a PM I am inclined to decline your application. We have no ambition to expand to Iceland again as the gaming scene as a whole there is dead or dying.

Best of luck.

I would say that's just wrong, "the gaming scene is dead or dying blahblah" That's pretty much wrong, considering past times, where there were 2 teams at most actually playing in Iceland. I would say the community here is pretty active at the moment, where are you getting your iNfORMAtIOn? Well, I think you have no idea tbh. And this d00d is like 13 years old and hes shit, so don't even take this into consideration, application is based on lies _only_ lies L0L.
I still keep in touch with the old Rasta Icelandic team and talk to them regularly about the Icelandic scene and if it is getting any better because when I went over there to Gamer lan (which has now shut down due to lack of turn ups) the scene was very much on its last legs. Your national Xmas cup had around 16 teams play in it - hardly the sign of a healthy scene.

The fact you also sign up here and instantly ask for "motherboards, mouses, mousepads, headphones" whilst giving no information on your lineup, results or background on the team shows me you lack the time to actually do some research on who you are applying to and what we look for in applications. Then sprinkle on top the 2 forum posts and 1 PM I can say no without a shadow of a doubt that even if Iceland had the most active CSS scene in the world it would still be a no coz your attitude isn't right for Rasta.

I can understand that 16 teams wouldn't be considered as "much" to you, but for the Icelandic scene it's pretty decent, you have to realise that we are only 300.000. And I'm quite sure Gamer-Lan didn't shut down due to lack of turn ups/sign ups.. 16 teams in an Icelandic cup is pretty good, so yeah there you have it, we have reached 24 teams at most in one competition, since from the beginning, and if I'm correct, that was a LAN-event. So basically, compared to the UK scene, and pretty much everywhere else, the community is not active, but if you look at the Icelandic scene alone, it's quite good. And comparing me and you, I think I have the upper hand, considering, I'm from Iceland.

At the end of the day, ignoring the state of the competitive scene within Iceland. To reiterate what Blanks was saying, Pingu's application(s) are unfortunately sub-standard. Applicants must first read the following: http://rasta-gaming.com/forum/thread/696

The application(s) show that no real effort had been taken to read about Rasta Gaming or the application process. However also asking for equipment straight away doesn't give a great first impression either. As such, no amount of whining would change the outcome of Pingu's application(s). The fact remains that Pingu's application(s) and attitude are not in sync with what Rasta Gaming are looking for.

As for yourself, you and Pingu joined within almost 24 hours of eachother as such it would be safe to assume the following; either you a: were lurking and decided to sign up to confront Blanks information, b: are a friend of Pingu's and he spoke to you about the application or c: are indeed Pingu.

At any rate, the application has been denied and Blanks ultimately holds the cards and the "upper hand".

ROFL. I'm just answering Blanks, read this and thought I'd correct him on this matter. As for this pingu dude, hes total bs. Hes like 12 year old, and hes shit, nobody has really heard of him, except when people are laughing at hime, don't waste your time:). Only reason I signed up was to correct Blanks, doesn't think it's his to say how active the Icelandic scene is.
Except you didn't correct me because the Icelandic CSS team is pretty much dead.

Yes, if you compare the Icelandic scene to nothing then it is the best in the world - but as soon as you compare it to any other country out there, with the exception of 3rd world countries, it isn't an active or healthy scene to warrant the use of resources on.

exception of 3rd world countries hahaha i like it blanks :D :D

disgrace yoyo!: lol turst me, ill be the bestest player at i45
