Will just told me of another amusing story where a US Destroyer saw they were on a collision course and so radio'd said colliding party saying they needed to change course by 15 degrees, to which they got the response of "No, YOU need to change YOUR course by 15 degrees". The destoyer obviously answered with "I don't think you understand, we are a US Destroyer class vessel, YOU need to change course" to which the responding party said "Well, we are a lighthouse! Your call!"
