A much needed update

By  Blanks — 19th May 2012 @ 12:19

Sorry to bump you off the top spot already Pete but I have been working on this since 7am, epic timing as always <3.

Over the past month there have been some comings and goings which haven't really been covered due to the massive amount of time LAN and Diablo 3 take up have been overlooked...Before diving into it all I would like to thank everyone that turned up to i45 from all over Europe to represent Rasta. It was great seeing the old Danes and meeting the new Dane and Belgian. You all did your part, played well and represented Rasta perfectly. Hopefully see you all again at i46.

On to the news! Let's start off with some good news. A new Danish team has joined us, Rasta.DK, who are currently at The Blast LAN in Denmark. They have just finished 2nd in their group, only narrowly missing out first place in a very close game against Epsilon. This team has been cursed from the second they joined Rasta with 2 players having ...

Science News!

By  p-gunna — 19th May 2012 @ 11:33

There hasn't been much to report on the front page recently, what with everyone recovering from LAN and (hopefully) preparing write ups for you lovely people, I thought I'd jump in with some exciting SCIENCE NEWS!

It might not look like much, but this could be the future of computer memory chips.

Researchers have revealed details of a promising way to make a fundamentally different kind of computer memory chip. The device is a "memristor", a long-hypothesised but only recently demonstrated electronic component. A memristor's electronic properties make it suitable for both for computing and for far faster, denser memory.

Researchers at the European Materials Research Society meeting now say it can be made much more cheaply, using current semiconductor techniques.
There has been significant interest in memristors si...

New Rasta.LiT CSS Team

By  Hayes — 6th May 2012 @ 22:38

Would just like to thank blanks for everything and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't ended up going LAN and wouldnt of found my new team mates. Little bit about us you ask? well we were formed 2 days before LAN after I got forced out of Rasta.ip 9days before LAN. We went to LAN wanting to play for fun but soon realized we were capable of making the prize bracket. Unfortunately we just lost out to apathy in the last match of the group stages and ended up in the intermediate bracket. We ended up coming 29th at LAN even though we hadn't even played with out each before and hadn't even mixed together!

We decided to continue the team online and see what we can achieve by practicing and actually getting to know each other and learn each others ways. If we can reach 29th as a mix team imagine what we can get by becoming a real team!

Would just like to ask the community help and welcome my new team mates Flex,Ki,IV,Prendy and also a new 5th once we find one due to prendy not being all ...
